MOSS JOB Requirements

• Will provide subject matter expertise around the SharePoint platform to identify and recommend workable solutions to the business community.
• Take ownership and lead business application design efforts
• Independently interact at the technical and business levels
• Demonstrate expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies, with specific expertise in MOSS2007 and Visual Studio Tools (C#, ASP.NET, Visual SourceSafe, TFS).
• Have a firm understanding of design methods and architectures
• Works with Project Manager in establishing to develop the overall implementation solution plan, and serve as lead, as required, in the implementation, customization, and integration efforts
• Provide support to onsite ICT operations team during implementation, upgrade and migration effortsCommunicate and enforce best practice coding standards.
• Consistently deliver high-quality services to business sponsors on schedule.
• Communicate difficult/sensitive information appropriately.
• Develop positive and productive relationships with BESIX Group ICT team and business sponsors.

The ideal candidate MUST have the following:

• Atleast 3 years solid expertise in Microsoft SharePoint 2003/2007 and MOSS technologies including web part development, site definitions, features, and multi-language site variations. Candidates with less than 3 years experience need not apply.
• Expert-level competency in Visual Studio Tools for Office and Windows Workflow Foundation.
• Broad experience with .NET Framework to include .NET 2.0 and ASP.NET 3.0/3.5
• Extensive experience in DataSourceControl, DataSouceView, Membership and Personalization
• Experience with large-scale applications is necessary
• Demonstrable experience developing solution architecture
• Leadership experience throughout the software lifecycle
• Ability to define and validate the system’s architecture
• Good knowledge of CSS development and modern web design principles
• Experience with projects using both waterfall and Agile development processes
• Experience proactively assessing and mitigating technical risks to system, as well as facilitating communication among team
• Experience defining, designing and implementing custom web parts, workflows, and web services on .NET 3.x framework
• Has a very good communication skills
• Team player and/or can work with minimal supervision
• Can work in a diversified culture environment and with a sense of keen to details
• Bachelor’s (Master’s a plus) degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
